Rifa Conservation Education Camp operational budget and capital funding budget are available on request. Our budget year runs from Jan 01 to Dec 31.
INCOME : Rifa Conservation Education Camp income is generated from programme fees and from income received from donors. Fees income is capped by the following factors ; the number of dry season weeks, the number of children we can host on a programme, and the level of fees that can be charged to schools from disadvantaged Zimbabwean communities.
Every school who attends Rifa Camp Rifa Conservation Education Camp is asked to pay fees. Fees are calculated for a 5 day programme school group of approximately 30 children plus their accompanying teachers. Fees are at the upmost limit of affordability for most visiting schools and beyond reach for many. Rifa budget includes the sponsorship of five schools who would not otherwise be able to attend the programme.
